2025 Leadership Symposium Summit

2024-2025 has been a year of BIG change. The Leadership Symposium will address some of those challenges. We will offer a round table of Directors from a cross section of the types of schools across the state to try to answer your questions about life in the financial aid office during FAFSA simplification and any other questions that are keeping you up at night that you may want to ask the panel. Topics will include but are not limited to staffing changes, new regulations and reporting requirements. We will also have a session addressing Inclusion in Higher Education.

SCASFAA is offering 5 registration scholarships ($75.00 each) for this training. If your institution has limited funds, send me an email explaining your school’s budgetary challenges to Leehr2@mailbox.sc.edu.

Finally, if you missed the opportunity to study and earn your NASFAA Administrative Capability credential, we are offering it once again at a discounted price that you would have to pay if you took the test on your own. 

A delicious lunch from Apple Spice is included in the registration fee. Your choices are:

• Granny Apple Turkey on Honey Wheat:  Tangy sliced green apples, Havarti cheese, lettuce, and our famous apple cider vinaigrette dressing on top of our oven roasted turkey breast.
• BLT avocado on Honey Wheat:  The ultimate BLT piled high with bacon, lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese, avocado, sprouts, and our signature sauce.
• Vegetarian on 13-Grain:  Mushrooms, cucumbers, vine-ripened tomatoes, sprouts, roasted red peppers, and avocados on lettuce with cheddar cheese and pesto mayonnaise.
• Roast Beef & Provolone on 13-Grain:  Lean roast beef and provolone cheese with Dijon horseradish sauce.
• The Italian on Sourdough:  Salami, pepperoni, ham, provolone cheese, pepperoncini, tomatoes, green leaf lettuce and Vidalia onion mayonnaise.
